Our customers include World Vision, The United Nations, The World Wildlife Fund and thousands of other leading NPOs worldwide. | | Responsibilities | Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, the GDS Senior Fundraising Consultant will, as a principal member of the GDS Team of consultants, grant writers and researchers, play leading role in the achievement of the department’s strategic objectives.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 10 or more years of consulting experience in key facets of fundraising for non-profit organizations, ideally in both the US and Canada;
- Proven leadership skills including the ability to manage projects and related resources in a dead-line driven environment; Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- A proven track record of fundraising consulting and a demonstrated ability to build relationships in the not-for-profit environment;
- A post-secondary education - a CFRE accreditation would be an asset;
- Ability to work independently and take initiative as well as function as part of a team;
- A desire to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment within the charitable sector;
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-Mail.
